Connection & hardware
- 5 Mbps or better for standard definition video; 10 Mbps for HD
- Speakers or headphones — all courses are narrated
- 1280 × 720 or larger display; the site works on tablets and phones but the course player is easier on a larger screen
- PDF reader for handouts and your certificate
- JavaScript and cookies enabled
If you are on a school or district network
District firewalls are the most common cause of video playback failure. If video will not load, ask your IT team to allow the following, then run the system check again:
- Our domain and its subdomains
- Our video delivery provider's streaming domains
- Outbound HTTPS on port 443
- Third-party cookies for our domain, if your policy blocks them globally
We can send a short document addressed to your IT department listing exactly what to allow. Request it →
