How it works

Every course follows the same structure. You always know where you are, what is left, and what is required before your certificate is released.

  1. Enroll and set up your profile

    Create an account with the name exactly as it should appear on your certificate, plus your discipline, license number and state. We use these fields directly on the certificate, so getting them right at the start saves a reissue later.

  2. Take the pre-test

    Twenty ungraded, untimed items before any content is released. It establishes a baseline and highlights where to concentrate. You will see your pre-test alongside your post-test at the end.

  3. Work through the video modules

    Three to four hours of instruction split into segments of 45 to 55 minutes. Every segment has captions, a full transcript, and downloadable handouts. Your position is saved automatically, so you can stop mid-module and resume on another device.

  4. Complete the knowledge checks

    A short quiz sits between modules. These are formative — immediate feedback, rationales for every option, and unlimited attempts. They do not count toward your final score.

  5. Pass the post-test

    Forty items drawn from a larger pool, so no two attempts are identical. A score of 75% or higher is required. You have three attempts. Rationales are released once you pass.

  6. Complete the course evaluation

    A brief evaluation is required before the certificate is released. This is a standard continuing education requirement, and the aggregate results genuinely shape the next revision of the course.

  7. Download your certificate

    Available immediately. It carries your name, the course title, CE hours, completion date and a verification code that anyone can check independently. It stays in your account permanently.

Common questions

About the format

Can I skip ahead in the videos?
No. The player records actual viewing time and will not allow you to jump past unviewed content. This is what makes the seat time behind your certificate defensible — if your certificate is ever questioned, the record supports it.
What if I fail the post-test?
You have three attempts. Between attempts you can return to any module and review. Each attempt draws a different set of items from the pool. If you exhaust all three attempts, contact support and we will discuss options.
Can I start on one device and finish on another?
Yes. Progress, video position and quiz state sync to your account. Sign in anywhere and pick up where you stopped.
How long do I keep access?
Twelve months from enrollment for the course content. Your certificate and transcript remain in your account permanently, regardless of course access.
Are the videos captioned?
Yes. Every video has human-verified captions and a downloadable transcript. Player speed is adjustable from 0.75× to 2×.
