Accessibility Statement
Our commitment, where we currently stand against WCAG 2.1 AA, known gaps, and how to request an accommodation.
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Prototype placeholder. This policy is scaffolding that shows the structure and headings a page of this type needs. The wording has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must not be published as-is.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across this website and our learning platform. Accessibility is treated as a requirement of the build, not as a remediation task afterward.
What is in place
- Human-verified captions on every video, plus a downloadable transcript
- Adjustable playback speed from 0.75× to 2×
- Full keyboard operability, including the course player and all assessments
- Visible focus indicators throughout
- Text contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text
- Semantic headings, landmarks and form labels for screen reader users
- No content that relies on colour alone to convey meaning
- Reduced-motion support that honours your operating system setting
- Text that reflows at 200% zoom without loss of function
Known limitations
We publish these rather than wait until they are fixed.
- Some downloadable handouts are not yet fully tagged PDFs. Accessible versions are available on request and are being remediated on a rolling basis.
- A small number of older diagrams have alternative text that describes rather than fully conveys the underlying data. A text equivalent is available on request.
- Third-party embedded content is not always within our control; we will provide an accessible alternative where it is not.
Requesting an accommodation
Contact us before enrolling and tell us what you need — extended time on assessments, materials in an alternative format, a screen-reader-optimised version of a handout, or anything else. Email info@jedtraining.com. We respond within one business day and we do not ask for documentation of a disability in order to provide a reasonable accommodation.
Assessment accommodations
Post-tests are untimed by default. Where a course uses a time limit, extended time is available on request at no cost and without justification.
VPAT
A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template conformance report is available for procurement. Request it here.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier, tell us. Describe the page, what you were trying to do and what assistive technology you were using. We acknowledge within two business days and will tell you our plan and timeline.
Assessment method
Conformance is assessed by a combination of automated testing, manual keyboard and screen reader testing, and periodic independent audit. The date of the most recent independent audit is stated at the top of this page when one has been completed.
